Member of parliament for Assin Central Hon Kennedy Agyapong, has expressed his belief that endorsing Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the party’s presidential candidate for the 2024 elections may not secure victory against former President John Dramani Mahama.

He highlighted the Vice President Bawumia’s statement, saying, “Choosing Bawumia won’t secure victory against Mahama. I’m stating this candidly today. It was Bawumia who previously emphasized that if your economic fundamentals are weak, your exchange rate will suffer. I’m merely being truthful here, not intending to harm the party.”
Agyapong further outlined his vision for transforming the country, emphasizing three core pillars: patriotism, honesty, and discipline. He articulated his commitment to these principles as essential for Ghana’s progress.
